Vancouver Green Party
Gabi for Parks - Park Board Candidate Campaign
Gabi for Parks was a campaign for a Vancouver Park Board candidate running with the Green Party of Vancouver. Working closely with the candidate, I developed the campaign's visual identity and created materials across print and digital platforms, including social media content, posters, and postcards.
The visual identity was designed to reflect Gabi's approachable and community-focused personality while celebrating Vancouver's parks and recreation culture. A bold, friendly typeface was paired with a colour palette inspired by the city's natural landscape, creating a campaign that felt welcoming, optimistic, and easy to recognize.
Custom illustrations of local wildlife, recreation, and outdoor activities helped reinforce the themes of community, accessibility, and connection to public spaces.
Visual Identity
Reflection
The campaign concluded before election day due to funding constraints. Despite its shortened timeline, the project provided an opportunity to create a complete visual identity and explore how design can support accessibility and participation in local politics.
