A Field Guide to Orchid’s Genus

This field guide explores the intersection of typography and nature through visual illustration. Using glyphs as the foundation, I created a unique representation of different orchid genera, blending botanical beauty with the elegance of letterforms.

This project is both a study in visual language and an artistic exploration of how type and symbols can be used beyond their traditional context. By carefully selecting and arranging glyphs, I aimed to capture the organic forms of orchids while highlighting the aesthetic potential of characters in design.

The guide offers a new way to appreciate typography and botanical forms, inviting viewers to see type as more than just letters.
